10 Lockdown Era WWE Superstars You Totally Don't Remember

1. Jeet Rama

Jeet Rama spent his entire wrestling career under WWE's watch.

He inked a deal in 2015, but would only wrestle seven times during his first two years under contract. By 2017, Rama was a regular on NXT house shows. He'd still have to wait a while for a golden opportunity, right enough. How long? Around four years. Jeet finally got some attention towards the end of the lockdown days in early-2021.

WWE positioned him opposite super-worker AJ Styles for the Superstar Spectacle PLE (it was a so-called "Premium Live Event", but fans weren't fooled) in January. Jeet went a respectable 10 minutes with AJ before staring at the lights, and it was back to the wilderness for him. Some 205 Live matches followed.

Rama got another decent spot in November vs. Solo Sikoa on the rebranded NXT 2.0. That came after the closed door days, but it's worth referencing here anyway. In short, you'd have to be the kind of fan who gobbles up everything WWE spits out to remember Jeet's 15 minutes in the spotlight.
