10 Longest Gaps Between WWE Superstars' WrestleMania Matches

1. Tatanka (23 years)

Tatanka debuted in the WWF in February 1992, to high hopes and hair-destroying volumes of red dye in his mullet. He beat Rick 'The Model' Martel at WrestleMania VIII, and got a countout win over Intercontinental Champion Shawn Michaels the next year. Although the Native American's star would fall soon afterwards, he remained with the company for another three years, but he failed to appear on another WrestleMania. Even a return to the company between 2005 and 2007 couldn't get him back on the 'Mania card, and when he left the company a second time it seemed pretty unlikely that he would ever get another shot on the grandest stage of them all.

That was until he war danced his way down to the ring as a surprise entrant in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 32, a full twenty-three years since his win over Shawn Michaels at 'Mania IX. There was no fairytale return for Tatanka, however, and he was swiftly eliminated.

Will anyone break Tatanka's record? It's twenty-four years since WrestleMania X this year, so perhaps Mo from Men On A Mission is eyeing a spot in the Andre the Giant Battle Royal...
