10 Longest Matches In WWE History
1. Gauntlet Match (19 February 2018): 146 Minutes 55 Seconds
While many consider gauntlets like this a series of singles matches rather than a sole entity, WWE market these bouts with the latter in mind, which is why this near two-hour test of endurance takes top spot.
The runtime suggests a slog, but no: the match was outstanding. Essentially a preview for Elimination Chamber 2017, it pitted Braun Strowman, John Cena, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Finn Bálor, Elias, and The Miz against each other, and while the action dominated Raw's runtime, it didn't drag at all.
Rollins was the standout. He spent over 65 minutes in the ring, during which he pinned both Cena and Reigns, setting a new Raw record himself. Seth and his Shield brother delivered an excellent opening sequence. Elias would eventually send him packing, but it was the best 'The Kingslayer' had looked in months, and painted him as a megastar.
It all boiled down to Braun Strowman vs. The Miz, and after much destruction, 'The Monster Among Men' foiled his cowardly foe. A satisfying conclusion to an experimental match format that nobody saw coming, but few were complaining about by the end.
