10 Longest Reigning WWE Tag Team Champions Ever

4. John Morrison & The Miz - 250 Days

Another seemingly thrown-together team, John Morrison & The Miz started off as opponents on WWECW before teaming up to prize the WWE Tag Team Championship away from Matt Hardy & MVP, another thrown-together team, in 2007. Morrison & Miz would go on to become one of the more successful 'out of nowhere' teams in recent history.

Miz n' Morrison didn't have a whole lot of credible challengers, but you can only beat what is in front of you, and they did just that. Jesse & Festus, Jimmy Wang Yang & Shannon More and other stepped up to the plate, and all fell. Miz & Morrison also began to host a pretty delightful WWE.com exclusive show called 'The Dirt Sheet', further enhancing their togetherness.

Miz and Morrison's 250 day reign came to an end at The Great American Bash in 2008, when Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder won the titles in a fatal four-way match. Neither Miz nor Morrison was pinned, and you can get an idea of the strength of the division by the appearance of the team of Finlay & Hornswoggle in the bout.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
