I'm not entirely sure how, but the teaming of Daniel Bryan and Kane as Team Hell No somehow managed to not only make Kane relevant again in 2012, but also provided the launching pad for the Daniel Bryan story, arguably pro wrestling's most emotional story of the last forever.

The team was born out of WWE comedy in the shape of anger management skits with Dr. Shelby, skits that saw the two try to deal with their issues. They would be encouraged to 'hug it out', which managed to draw great cheers from crowds worldwide. The duo would go on to defeat Kofi Kingston and R-Truth (somewhat inadvertently) for the titles at Night of Champions 2012.

245 Days later the titles were lost, Bryan and Kane unable to hold off Rollins and Reigns of The Shield any longer.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
