A two-for-one deal here, as despite both Hardy siblings breaking out of their popular team to enjoy successful singles careers in their own right, the pull of nostalgia and gradually ossifying bodies has seen the two inevitably reentwine for one last nostalgia run as a tandem - and both seem better off for it.

Perennial jobbers Matt and Jeff made the rare jump from light inspectors to pinfall procurers in 1998, and under the tutelage of tag team legend Michael Hayes, surprised The Acolytes to claim their first tag team championship during an episode of Monday Night Raw. Two decades of triumph and turmoil would follow for each brother, with both experiencing the most glorious highs and dramatic lows the industry could possibly offer.

When the pair made a shock return as a team at WrestleMania 33, it was like 1998 had never ended. Two years on - and with the broken Woken gimmick having sufficiently reset the nostalgia clock - the two provided one last feel-good moment for a happy handed WrestleMania weekend, claiming the SmackDown tag team straps almost twenty years after their first taste of silverware.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
