10 Longest Women's Championship Reigns In WWE History
7. Nikki Bella
Championship Held DivasLength of Longest Reign 291+ Days At the time of writing, Nikki Bellas reign comes in at 291 days and counting. Nikkis reign started when she won the Divas Championship for her 2nd time, defeating AJ Lee at Survivor Series last November, thanks to some help from her twin sister Brie. Nikkis lengthy reign has been a rather controversial one. Many fans believe that the only reason Nikki won the title in the first place is as a result of her relationship with the WWEs top star John Cena, rather than being as a result of her own in-ring abilities, which a lot of fans opine are not quite up to scratch. Furthermore, fans have been left annoyed by the lack of title defences, with Nikki having only competed in 6 Divas Championship matches since winning the title. The main source of concern recently among fans is that the quickly failing Divas Revolution storyline seems to have been put in place as an excuse to have Nikki not defend her title, which is particularly annoying given that the storyline has introduced a number of new Divas to the main roster, all of whom would make very interesting challengers. At long last though, one of these former NXT Divas will get a shot at Nikkis title this Monday on Raw, as Ric Flairs daughter Charlotte gets a chance to prevent Nikkis reign from becoming the longest in Divas Championship history.
