Okay, so Chris Jericho's longest Cruiserweight reign lasted the same length as Kidman's, but if you must choose Jericho or Kidman to go ahead on any list who are you going to go with?

Jericho had four Cruiserweight title reigns, with his third clocking in as the longest. It was during this time that he was embroiled in a fantastic feud with Dean Malenko. Indeed, this run was brought to an end with Malenko masqueraded as Ciclope to win a #1 Contender Battle Royal to face Jericho.

Needless to say, the crowd went nuts for Malenko and his title win.

This was also the feud that featured Jericho's infamous list of 1,004 holds. The greatest Cruiserweight Championship feud in history? I think so.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
