10 Longest WWE European Championship Reigns Ever
7. Shawn Michaels - 82 Days
When Shawn Michaels defeated The British Bulldog in Birmingham (not Alabama) to become only the second European Champion in history, he created another slice of history by becoming the first Grand Slam Champion of all time.
His 82-day reign came to an end in less than competitive circumstances, when Commissioner Slaughter forced him to defend the title on an episode of RAW in December 1997. His opponent ended up being Triple H, and HBK intentionally lost the match so his then-sidekick could get the gold.
