5. Eddie Guerrero - 111 Days

Shawn Michaels European Title

The first reign over 100 days on this, 'Latino Heat' Eddie Guerrero's first run with the European Championship lasted 111 days. It began on RAW the night after WrestleMania 2000, when he ended Chris Jericho's less than 24 hour reign as champ.

111 days later Guerrero would drop the title to one of the most underrated performers of the era, Perry Saturn, at the Fully Loaded PPV. The match itself was full of interference, with Saturn picking up the win after Terri kicked Eddie in the groin. Lovely.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
