Hunter Hearst Helmsley entered the 1996 Royal Rumble as the number one entrant, after being disqualified in a Free For All match against Duke 'The Dumpster' Droese. Hunter did a whole lot better from number one than the bin man would have, that is for sure, lasting an impressive 48 minutes and four seconds. He doesn't eliminate anyone in that time, but his performance is impressive nonetheless.

Helmsley is credited with one elimination, although watching the match back tells a completely different story. Hx3 is credited with assisting Jake Roberts in eliminating Takao Omori, although it is clear when watching that Hunter provides approximately no help in getting rid of the AJPW star. Zero eliminations for Hunter it is then.

This was Hunter's first ever appearance in the Royal Rumble match, which he would follow up with his first ever WrestleMania appearance just a couple of months later. That ended in a squash defeat against The Ultimate Warrior, and his Rumble debut ended with the 19th longest appearance of all time, but the longest by an individual who didn't eliminate a single competitor.

His career turned out okay though, I'm sure you'll agree.
