WrestleMania VI was the last 'Mania appearance of Ax and Smash, and the next year's WrestleMania was the end for another legendary tag team.

Bret "Hitman" Hart and Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, The Hart Foundation, had dethroned Demolition for the Tag Team Championships at SummerSlam '90. Seven months later at WrestleMania VII, the Foundation were upset for their titles by The Nasty Boys, Knobbs and Sags, managed by Jimmy Hart.

After Sags cracked Neidhart with Jimmy Hart's motorcycle helmet, the Foundation soon shattered. What fans didn't know at the time was that this would be the Hart Foundation's last major match together and a major WrestleMania Moment.

In the weeks that followed, Bret was pushed into singles competition, eventually capturing the Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam '91. The Anvil briefly tried his hand at commentary before a singles run failed to impress. By '92, Jim formed the New Foundation with Bret's youngest brother Owen, but got himself fired 6 weeks before WrestleMania VIII.

Of all the Hart Family's memorable WrestleMania Moments, VII is too often forgotten.
