10 Loudest Crowd Reactions In UFC History

7. Daniel Cormier Crushes Stipe Miocic (UFC 226)

Daniel Cormier has had a complicated relationship with the UFC faithful.

Though always a strong and capable competitor in the Octagon - displaying a 22-2 record in MMA - DC has never fully connected with the fans as a personality. This was evidenced in his feud with arch-nemesis Jon Jones.

Jones routinely strung up the former Olympian verbally and proved to be the more entertaining and controversial of the two - and we all know controversy sells, whereas Cormier would consistently prove that trash talking isn't exactly his forte.

Yet, MMA isn't all about being the class clown. If you can't back up your words in the Octagon then you'll find out how quickly you can lose those new found fanatics.

Skip forward to UFC 226 where Cormier made the jump up to Heavyweight for the first time in 5 years to take on the current UFC Heavyweight champion, Stipe Miocic.

Miocic had dictated the division for over two years and the fans in Las Vegas fully expected the consistent champion to bulldoze Cormier.

Proving that his Octagon IQ was worth more than his popularity outside of it, DC shocked the world by sparking out the handy champ with an awe inspiring right in the first round.

The audible 'OOOOOOOOH!' in the room will serenade a punch that will be replayed in UFC highlight packages for years to come.
