10 Loudest Crowd Reactions In UFC History

6. Conor McGregor Brings It Home (UFC Fight Night Dublin)

In 2019, can you even imagine a world where Conor McGregor isn't the biggest draw in all of the UFC?

As hard as it is to believe, there was a time when the Mac wasn't the household name he is today. Instead, he was a plucky kid from Crumlin, Dublin, with a chip on his shoulder and a sting in his left.

If you take away his devastating KO of Jose Aldo in 2015 - a beat too incredible to leave off this list - McGregor showed his first hints of overwhelming popularity a year earlier when he earned a Performance of the Night award in his home city of Dublin.

The soon to be Mystic Mac would obliterate the Brazilian, Diego Brandao, at UFC: Fight Night and - in the fourth minute of the first round - would destroy the man with a barrage of furious punches for the TKO.

Needless to say, his home crowd absolutely relished the moment their prodigal son put Dublin on the map as a serious MMA territory. The roof was blown off the place and you'd find it difficult to find a roar that primal or patriotic in any other UFC event in the company's history - except maybe one... but we'll get there.

McGregor hinted at his trailblazing future in Dublin and his fellow Irishman weren't here to take part - they were here to take over.
