If the Royal Rumble is supposed to be about fun, crowd-pleasing moments, WWE played an absolute blinder in 2015.

The match got off to a lukewarm start with The Miz and R-Truth at numbers one and two, but things heated up as soon as the sound of a falling bomb squealed through the arena at number three. The Dudley Boyz' theme music hit, and Bubba Ray stepped out to a WWE show for the first time in close to a decade, provoking an immense response from the masses.

Bubba had a fun little run, eliminating both Truth and Miz, before falling to Bray Wyatt. His pop was the undisputed highlight, though. He drew the kind of volume usually reserved for the sport's biggest legends, and while his incredible tag team résumé guaranteed a hearty reception in any city, the fact that the Rumble was held in Philadelphia made the moment.

WWE knew that any ECW alumnus would get a reaction in the promotion's old home city. If the show were held in, say, Los Angeles, Bubba probably wouldn't have a place on our list, but ECW fans are loyal to their own, and they greeted Dudley like a returning hero.

It's a shame they couldn't get D-Von at number four, though...
