10 Loudest Pops In WWE Royal Rumble History

It was easy to be cynical heading into the 2016 Royal Rumble. Not only had WWE put Roman Reigns' World Title on the line in the titular match itself, but they had him enter at number one, sowing the seeds for the kind of forced 'overcoming the odds' narrative that had poisoned his popularity. Fortunately, this wasn't the case, and the audience's salvation came from an unlikely source.

Triple H entered at number 30. Roman's devious corporate rival was here to screw him out of the gold, and while 'The Game's' arrival drew a considerable pop itself, it was nothing compared to the roar that greeted him when he dumped Reigns out of the ring. A most hated run was over, and Hunter ended up going all the way to score a victory that would likely have been met with monster heat had it not come at Roman's expense.

The whole thing was done to set up their horrendous WrestleMania match, but in the moment, Triple H throwing Roman out was tremendous. Was it WWE's intended reaction? Probably not, but nobody can argue with the decibel count.
