9. Dario Cueto

Dario Cueto is amazing. No one in all of professional wrestling is as good as he is at acting in backstage segments. Really, Paul Heyman is the only one who comes close. Stephanie McMahon should watch his work on loop to see how it’s done, and how ridiculously overreacting is actually not the best style of acting.

Part of makes Cueto so great is that he’s a trained actor. His real name is Luis-Fernandez-Gil, and he’s appeared in various TV shows, commercials, and movies over there year. But in The Temple, the man really shines as the sinister owner of the underground fight club.

If Cueto did come to WWE, he could make an amazing General Manager. He would be a refreshing break from the McMahons, or the Teddy Longs or Vickie Guerreros of the world. For the most part, they’re cartoons, where Cueto could instill some much needed reality in the product.

While he likely would no longer be able to feed people to his murderous brother, or act alongside Lorenzo Lamas, he would still likely be a huge upgrade to run one of their shows over whoever the company currently has in mind.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
