The former John Morrison, and the former Johnny Nitro before that, is now Johnny Mundo inside of The Temple, and he’s never been better. In WWE, Mundo never could really find himself as a character. He didn't seem that comfortable as a babyface, and he was a bit too flashy for a heel. While he still relies on high flying offense, he’s finally found the character that complements his personality.

Mundo is a total a-hole, but he’s really good at it. He’s an egotistical maniac, but he backs it up in the ring, which just makes it more frustrating. He’s been one of the most reliable performers in Lucha, and he usually gets some of the best crowd heat. A return to WWE could see him as an upper-level heel, one that could mix it up with John Cena and Roman Reigns, and help deliver some great matches with them.

Mundo seems pretty satisfied with his life away from the WWE machine, but eventually, almost everyone who walks away willingly, comes back to Vince. And speaking of machines...
