10 Mae Young Classic Wrestlers WWE Must Sign

3. Jazzy Gabert

Kairi Sane aside, no Mae Young Classic competitor caught the crowd's attention like Jazzy Gabert during the first round. A towering, musclebound performer, her clash with Abbey Laith had Full Sail University in raptures, and though she lost, the 'Alpha Female' shone through with her unique look, imposing aura, and brutish MMA-inspired offence.

Gabert is a superstar in the making. She's exactly what WWE want Nia Jax to be, but is far more adept at projecting her character, and has a stronger grasp of how to utilise her power. She's not on the same level of a Bull Nakano or Aja Kong, but Jazzy would make a tremendous monster character in NXT or on the main roster, and the MYC proves that she can connect with WWE audiences.

None of this should come as a huge surprise. Gabert has been active in the sport since 2001, and though she's spent most of her time in Europe and Japan, she stopped by TNA for a brief run in 2014. Now 35 years old, time is running out for her to make an impact on the American wrestling scene, which means signing her should be a matter of priority.
