At SummerSlam (1992) Undertaker fought Kamala to a disqualification in a forgettable match. It’s become noteworthy in recent years though from a shoot interview conducted with Kamala in which he claimed he earned $13,000 for the show whilst The Deadman earned an unbelievable $500,000.

It’s understandable Undertaker as one of the company’s biggest stars at that point, having won his first WWF Championship from Hulk Hogan the prior year, would earn more than Kamala. But to think Undertaker earned half a million dollars for SummerSlam in a PPV he didn’t even headline is far-fetched, with Dave Meltzer even writing on the issue "I'm not saying he's lying, but that's hard to believe. For there to be that big of a disparity wouldn't make any sense."

Kamala claims he was tipped off by Steve Lombardi (The Brooklyn Brawler) who went through Pat Patterson’s book for the event when he was preoccupied, commenting “He saw what the Undertaker made, and he said the Undertaker made a half million. I couldn’t prove it, but he hit it right on the head with what I made, so I believe him about the Undertaker. You know, I’m not knocking the Undertaker. He’s a gentleman, and I like him. He’s a super nice man. I think he deserved every dime he got, but what about me?”
