10 Main Roster WWE Talents That Should Be Clamouring For NXT Switch

1. Cesaro

This may be a controversial pick, as many would see him being on NXT as a demotion. Losing every week, including a loss to Ziggler in 3 minutes is a much worse demotion wouldn€™t you agree? He€™s basically a glorified enhancement talent now. They split him from Paul Heyman with no angle or incident and took away the move that made him popular because people liked it too much. It all came to a head when Jack Swagger, the guy who Cesaro ditched to join up with Heyman, beat him clean on Raw this past Monday night and was considerably more over than Cesaro. If anyone had told you the night after Wrestlemania where Cesaro won the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal that by August, Jack Swagger would be more over than Cesaro, you would have said they were on drugs. The fact is that Cesaro€™s best couple of matches in the last year or so took place on NXT. They were against Sami Zayn, and they were nothing short of spectacular. With other big names like Devitt and Steen and Kenta heading to NXT, not to mention the guys already there like Zayn and Neville, there is a bevy of talent that Cesaro would put on fantastic matches with. He would be putting on match of the year candidates monthly if not weekly, and could be the talk of the wrestling world on NXT. NXT would also be a great show for his character. He is the antithesis of almost everything NXT stands for. He is not wacky or fun, nor does he have quirks or eccentricities. Everything about the show and its superstars would irritate him and he would vow to dominate the many silly and talented characters that make up the NXT roster. Imagine Cesaro as the all business NXT Champion, lording over all the characters whom he views as beneath him. It€™s a great environment for his character€™s perpetual scowl and all around uptight and irascible attitude. At the very least it€™s better than being a glorified enhancement talent.
