10 Main Roster WWE Talents That Should Be Clamouring For NXT Switch
8. Zack Ryder
Zack Ryder was a hot commodity for a hot minute in WWE history. The guy got himself over big time by using social media and YouTube to cultivate a sizeable following. He rode that support to a U.S. Title reign and a regular spot on Monday Night Raw for weeks until the wheels abruptly fell off. Its hard to say that the WWE resented him for circumventing their system to get himself over, being that they often preach about guys needing to get themselves over. That said it was pretty plain to see that once Ryder found some fame, the WWE did everything to sabotage the Long Island Iced Z that we had come to love on Twitter and YouTube. Since then he hasnt been able to get on any WWE TV, and if by some miracle he does appear, hes getting his ass handed to him. In his web series, Z! True Long Island Story, Ryder showed that he was fun and funny. He had an offbeat charisma that worked and connected with the fans. That kind of character would flourish in the wacky universe that is the NXT brand. He could carry around the Internet Title he created, have a selfie-off with Tyler Breeze, and he could become an unofficial companion of Enzo and Big Cass. Theres a lot of fun to be ha with this character on NXT that would at least give him something to do as opposed to never being used. The world would be a better place if Zacks spirits were lifted and we were spared his now seemingly regular sad tweets.
