10 Main Roster WWE Talents That Should Be Clamouring For NXT Switch
4. Big E Langston
Might as well finish the trifecta by bringing the third member of the abandoned trio aboard. Big E has seen moderate success on the main roster since his first appearance as AJs friend/bodyguard and associate of Dolph Ziggler. He became the Intercontinental Champion and had a substantially successful run until things inexplicably changed. As of late the WWE has dropped Langston from his name and had him lose multiple times on TV to Rusev and anybody else they were trying to get over as credible superstars. Its not the worst spot to be in, but hes had so many better angles for his character that simply werent followed through on. His relationship with AJ was a very interesting narrative but was never expanded upon (he was basically friend-zoned which would have been interesting had they kept the pair linked when he turned babyface and she stayed heel). The new group with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods was also dropped unceremoniously. The guy has something but every time an interesting development comes his way, its dropped. In his time on NXT, he was the NXT Champion and had a gimmick that fans adored. He was extraordinary, and sought to prove his superiority by defeating his opponents with a 5-count as opposed to a common 3-count. While he wasnt a spectacular promo, fans really dug the hell out of the 5-count gimmick and would pop huge any time he appeared. The character was supposed to be a heel but was turned babyface in a matter of weeks. He had a connection with the NXT audience and a gimmick that captivated! The main roster should have capitalized on those things, but didnt. Big E Langston should come back to the WWEs most entertaining brand and show everyone why three isnt enough!
