10 Main Roster WWE Talents That Should Be Clamouring For NXT Switch
5. Kofi Kingston
Kofi Kingston has been playing the exact same character since he stepped foot in the WWE. For years Kofi has been the jovial, boom clapping, dreadlocked, high-flyer, who will jump and perform aerial feats for our amusement. Can anybody remember the last time a character on TV saw such little development in such a large amount of time on air? It was exciting to see that he was going to get to try something new in his pairing with Big E and Xavier Woods. He was going to get to be a villain, something that he had never played before. Could he pull it off? Would it bring out a side of Kofi that would reignite his career? Well never know because the idea was reportedly either put on hold or completely dropped. Why? Possibly they were too busy wasting their time and ours with constant replays and awful comedy. No time to develop a new stable unfortunately. Kofi needs TV time to develop a different aspect of his personality, and if they wont make time for him to develop his character on Raw, Smackdown, or Main Event, then he would make a fantastic addition to NXT. He could go there and play the heel for the first time in his WWE career. He could have matches on TV regularly, and start rivalries with guys like Adrain Neville, Sami Zayn, and Kalisto; all guys who would surely put on a killer match with Kofi Kingston. Kofi should run to NXT as fast as he can, if only for the fresh opponents and the chance to try something new. NXT is the place to be if thats what you desire.
