10 Mainstream Songs That Made Great Wrestling Entrance Themes
5. Rollin' By Limp Bizkit (Undertaker 00-03)
It may be difficult to believe now, but for a short time Limp Bizkit were all over WWE programming. The rap metal act performed at WrestleMania, provided PPV themes and had lead singer and hat enthusiast Fred Durst appear in the popular video game Smackdown: Just Bring It.
In late 2000, the Florida group released their most successful track, Rollin'. The song is the perfect example of Nu Metal. Blending heavily distorted guitars with rapid turntable skills and an almost annoyingly infectious chorus, it acted as an undeniably fitting addition to Undertaker's American Badass persona.
It may sound outdated to more modern ears and doesn't possess the positive connotations that their other major song, My Way, enjoys due to its association to Wrestlemania X-7 - but Rollin is still an unforgettable aspect of The Undertaker's more down to earth period.
The song debuted as 'Taker's theme at the historic Six Man - Hell in a Cell Mach from Armageddon 2000 and lasted until his darker heel turn in to the Big Evil character in April 2002.
Fast paced, emphatic and unapologetic throughout, the song seemed tailor-made for images of the Undertaker rolling down to the ring on one of his trademark Harleys.
