10 Major Assets WWE Don't Realise They Have

9. Digital App

The WWE App is pretty terrible, but it has all the potential in the world to be something more. The first thing WWE could do is add a library of books and magazines to the app. Imagine the opportunity to download old Raw and WWE magazines on your phone or tablet. That's be a lot of fun for nostalgic wrestling geeks and it allows WWE to monetise their magazine library. All those classic features are untapped assets. The App could also be used to present and sell merchandise in a smarter way. Marketing is key to the WWE's business and the App should sell content in a more appealing manner. Just look at how Apple or Google use apps to sell digital content. WWE also need to give the whole thing a gloss. Right now it comes across as something for the kids. Make it something more serious and informative - the audience is there to be engaged.
