10 Major Booking Mistakes WWE Has Already Made With WrestleMania 36

8. Taking The Universal Championship From The Fiend

The Fiend won the Universal title on Halloween, and then dropped it to a 53-year-old part-time after just four months. The original plan was for Bray Wyatt to defend the title against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania, and while it's easy to see why WWE didn't head down that route (fans would have turned on the Big Dog), he should have remained champion.

Wyatt putting the title on the line against Cena would have had a big match feel, especially as the leader of the Cenation would have been attempting to finally beat Ric Flair's record and get his hands on the Universal Championship for the first time in his career.

As it stands, The Fiend's match against Cena is just a regular singles bout with no real reason for happening beyond the fact they previously squared off at WrestleMania in 2014. Playing on their shared history could be fun, but Wyatt's mystique has been irreparably damaged after Goldberg took him down with such ease in Saudi Arabia.

If The Fiend is no longer unstoppable, what's to stop Cena just hitting a series of Attitude Adjustments on him for a quick 1-2-3 when they go to war at the Show of Shows?
