10 Major Booking Mistakes WWE Has Already Made With WrestleMania 36

2. The Midcard Titles Clearly Still Don't Matter

With WrestleMania fast approaching, there's no clear plan for either the Intercontinental or United States Championships. At Elimination Chamber, Andrade will likely lose the title to Humberto Carrillo based on how he's been treated since returning from his suspension, while Braun Strowman is competing in a glorified 3-on-1 gimmick match.

Plans could start falling into place shortly after that, but Dave Meltzer recently reported that both titles are expected to be defended in multi-man bouts. In other words, the chances of them being part of any meaningful storylines are somewhere between slim and none.

The same can probably be said for WWE's three lots of tag team championships, and with so much of the card already starting to take shape, these matches could very well be relegated to the Kickoff show alongside those always forgettable Battle Royals.

One day, WWE might treat these titles with respect, but it won't be at this WrestleMania.
