10 Major Challenges Facing WWE In 2019

5. The Age Of Discontent

WWE Roster Too Many Wrestlers
WWE

Recent examples of WWE Superstars raging against the machine:-

The Revival decking themselves out in '#FTR' ('F*ck The Revival') trunks on this week's Raw, harking back to their long-running social media feud with The Young Bucks, and Dash Wilder filing for the trademark on 1 January.

Gran Metalik asking fans if they'd rather see him in CMLL or on the independents going forward.

Tye Dillinger throwing back to 'that time [he] used to wrestle' in October, then dropping this little tease on 6 January.

TJP trying to get himself fired on New Year's Eve.

Mojo Rawley saying 'I'm in no man's land right now - things have to happen, and they need to happen now' during an appearance on Lilian Garcia's podcast.

There are almost certainly more, and the trend is worrying. None of the above are main eventers, but each would be a potential asset to a competitor, and if reports that several unnamed WWE Superstars are considering AEW when their contracts come up, most would be in the conversation.

How to WWE stifle the growing unrest in their locker-room? By handling these talented athletes with greater care, or just letting them go. Neither is ideal.
