7. Brock Lesnar Back On Top

Brock Lesnar wasn't chuffed when news spread that Vince had decided to call it a day and retire in July 2022. Back then, he stormed out before a planned appearance on SmackDown, but eventually returned to go to work and do his bit. All was not well in 'Camp Beast' though.

Lesnar is very-much a Vince guy, and McMahon is definitely a Brock man.

They've got a close relationship behind the curtain, so it wouldn't be a surprise if Lesnar was back headlining WWE pay-per-views again by summer. There's something else at play here as well: Brock's UFC history. He has marketable name value and credibility with the MMA audience due to his shoot-fighting background, after all.

Will that history and McMahon's well-known fondness for Lesnar cost others on the roster their lofty spots? There are only so many slots at the top of WWE cards, basically, and Brock will have to oust somebody. Christ, it better not be Cody Rhodes - not right now!
