10 Major Improvements AEW Must Make Before All In 2024

8. Meaningful Follow Up On TV

This piggy backs on the previous point.

Will Ospreay defeated Chris Jericho at All In but hasn’t been spotted since. No, he’s not under a full time contract with the promotion, but that’s something Tony Khan has to thrash out. Fans do expect some form of follow up story when someone like Ospreay scores a win that huge.

As DDP used to say during his motivational speaking days: "That's not a bad thing, it's a good thing". If people expect to see more from Will, then that means they crave more segments and matches starring the Brit on AEW programming. The onus is on Tony to deliver that and feed the demand.

Having him disappear (or being unable to book him due to prior commitments) only gives credibility to critics who view AEW as akin to a dream match factory more than anything. The shockwaves of major match results at All In 2024 must be felt on TV afterwards.
