10 MAJOR Improvements WWE Have Already Made In 2018

7. Stephanie McMahon... Selling?!

Long considered one of WWE's most toxic TV characters, Stephanie McMahon's pattern is simple. She takes heat from others, and routinely emasculates full-time roster members, but rarely gives anything back.

2018 may just be the year this changes. Steph has been shockingly giving in her feud with Ronda Rousey, and has done more to sell the former UFC Champion's threat than anyone. Regularly upstaged in the build-up, she took a battering at WrestleMania 34 itself. Sure, her submission defence was over-the-top, but McMahon tapped out in the end, and was further humiliated on Raw the following night.

Let's hope this is a legitimate change of direction for Stephanie. She has always been a capable performer, and the Rousey interactions prove she can still be a complimentary character: it's her presentation that's the issue. Putting her over with minimal give is a problem, but recent events prove that Steph is perfectly capable of converting her own nuclear heat into considerable rubs for others, though it's telling that it took the biggest mainstream star in the company to pull this out of her.
