10 MAJOR Improvements WWE Have Already Made In 2018

6. Clearing Daniel Bryan

A contentious entry, perhaps, as clearing Daniel Bryan for in-ring competition obviously wasn't as simple as Vince McMahon clicking his fingers and saying "make it so." Still, in offering the former SmackDown General Manager a pathway back to the squared circle, WWE have injected their stale blue brand with a huge shot of adrenaline, and his comeback is already paying dividends.

The Shane McMahon vs. Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens storyline was among WWE's most tedious programs, and was likely heading towards an eyeroll-worthy Superman victory for the Commissioner prior to the clearance. Instead, we got Bryan's emotionally-charged in-ring return and one of the show's biggest highlights.

Daniel hasn't skipped a beat between the ropes. When he wrestles, it's as if he has never been away. He shows no obvious signs of ring rust, and after standing out against Sami and Kevin and in his SmackDown main event versus AJ Styles, it's exciting to think about what his future holds.

That feud with the Miz is high on many fans' wish lists, and if booked correctly, it's a match that could conceivably headline 'Mania 35. Let's hope WWE don't hot-shot it.
