At WrestleMania's Backlash, The Miz too on Damian Priest as a follow up to their tag team match at WrestleMania. Their match took a turn for the worst when a horde of ravenous zombies took to the ring, causing interference and then devouring The Miz and John Morrison live on air.

This was an awfully timed promotional piece for Zack Snyder's Army Of The Dead, but even as a marketing tactic... it fails. This did nothing to promote the film wekk, if anything it caused an outrage on social media with people talking about how horrible this angle was.

Damian Priest, The Miz and John Morrison were all damaged by this angle and it is shocking that Priest is on as good of a run as he is. This angle felt like an early 2000s WCW angle, and that is in no way a compliment.
