10 Major Shocks We Could See At Survivor Series 2014

5. Brock Lesnar Costs John Cena His Match

At SummerSlam, Brock Lesnar was successful in defeating (and decimating) John Cena for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The two faced off in a rematch the following month at Night of Champions, and although Cena won the match by disqualification (thanks to interference from Seth Rollins), he didn't win the title. Cena has since regained his No. 1 contendership with a victory over Randy Orton at Hell in a Cell. Their title encounter has yet to take place, though it has been rumored it could be occurring at Royal Rumble. Lesnar has been silent since Night of Champions with only his advocate Paul Heyman speaking on his behalf, but it's unknown when The Beast Incarnate's first WWE appearance since September will be. As of this writing, he's scheduled to show up on the December 8 Raw in Greenville, but what if he were to make a surprise appearance at Survivor Series? To build toward their upcoming title match, Lesnar interfering and costing Cena the match will not only give him an edge over the No. 1 Contender but also put him in the good graces of The Authority.
