ARGH!

Look, this writer is a big Goldberg fan, and one who doesn't think all of his post-2016 return matches can be considered failures. However, it'd be an outright lie to say he wants big Bill (no, not the AEW worker) to wrestle for World Titles ever again. That just shouldn't be happening in 2023.

Goldberg being installed as one of Cody's first Undisputed Title challengers doesn't sound like much fun at all. Sadly, you shouldn't dismiss it as an impossibility, especially not with another show in Saudi Arabia on the horizon. There's nothing stopping WWE from thrashing out a short-term deal with Bill now his contract has elapsed.

"Hey, Cody...you're next!" may well be a line that's incoming. Triple H probs wouldn't want it, but Vince McMahon's return to influence behind the scenes could pave the way for Goldberg to march back into view for yet another exhibition-style championship clash.

Start getting worried if you hate Goldberg. Bret Hart must be sh*tting himself.
