10 Major WWE Returns That Flopped

9. Trish Stratus

Trish Stratus may be one of the most popular Divas in the company's history, but her last return was pretty forgettable. You can't really blame her, as she still looked to be in great shape, and didn't look a day older from when we'd last seen her. However, she was overshadowed by The Rock making his WWE return, and she was also stuck in a mid-card WrestleMania match with Snooki. That would be like bringing Steve Austin back to team up with Steve-O. Perhaps her return match is now best remembered for her teammate John Morrison refusal to hug her after the match, or hold up her arm. He avoided her like the plague. This was due to his real life girlfriend Melina being upset because she felt Trish was taking a Divas spot at Mania. Unlike some other WWE Hall of Famers, there doesn't seem to be a great demand to get Trish back in a WWE ring. This is probably due to a rather weak Divas division at the moment, and the fact that her last run was so mediocre.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
