You know you're a jerk if you've got heat with Mick Foley. And though Mick, described by many as the nicest man in the wrestling business and has let go of his disapproval of Eric Bischoff, there were a few years where The Hardcore Legend was seriously hurt and offended by a certain WCW tactic. During the Monday Night Wars Bischoff had made a habit of not only bashing the WWF product, but also of revealing the outcomes of their shows, which were mostly taped. 'If you're even thinking about changing the channel to our competition fans, do not. We understand that Mick Foley, who wrestled here one time as Cactus Jack, is going to win their world title,' Tony Schiavone said on the January 4 1999 episode of Nitro, before sarcastically adding 'that'll put a lot of butts in seats.' It was that last line that deflated Foley on a night that he said should've been one of the highlights of his life. Offended that he would be insulted by a company he had previously worked so hard for, he called Schiavone - who informed Foley that he was instructed to say what he said by Bischoff. The two would go on to work together in TNA and, like Foley's real-life feud with Ric Flair, be turned into storyline.

As a child, when I wasn't doing typical Australian things like fending off dingoes while riding in the pouches of kangaroos, I was watching wrestling.
