There's not one exact incident that Bret Hart has pointed to that generated his heat with WCW and Eric Bischoff, but Bret has previously said that going to the company from WWE was like going from a world of colour to black and white. And The Hitman, not one to shy away from giving his opinion, was extremely blunt when he was asked about Eric, Hulk Hogan and Vince Russo in March of last year. 'Bischoff knows nothing, he's an idiot,' he said to WrestleTalkTV, before espousing similar views on Hulk and Russo, and that trio 'have zero to offer the business.' A TNA executive producer at the time, Bischoff fired back on Inside The Ropes by saying 'Bret Hart's trying very hard to stay relevant. Unfortunately, he's no longer relevant...he was an important character in the history of the business but he's not any longer and I'm sure that's hard on him.' While Bret has become something of an internet caricature for his criticism of various pro wrestling figures, it's easy to see where he's coming from. The Hitman was the world's hottest wrestler in 1997, was mismanaged and had his career ended by 2000.
