8. Bret Hart vs. Isaac Yankem And Jerry Lawler (1995)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V5a_2qgtX_g Despite the fact that Diesel and Shawn Michaels had spots higher on the card in the summer of 1995, there was no denying that Bret Hart was still the most popular star in the company and a hero to millions around the globe. As such, anything he was involved in was perceived to be more important. That was the case as he rolled into Pittsburgh for SummerSlam and a showdown with evil dentist Isaac Yankem. The product of Jerry "the King" Lawler's humiliating "Kiss My Foot" match loss at the King of the Ring pay-per-view, the feud between Hart and Yankem was the latest chapter in the never-ending rivalry between the Hitman and the King. As popular and great as Hart was, he was unable to hide the fact that a wrestling dentist was ludicrous. Yet another idiotic gimmick in a long line of them during that era, Yankem was failed to connect with audiences, relying heavily on the heat that Lawler elicited to keep fans interested in his portion of the story. Hart did everything in his power to get the best match possible out of the big man and, for the most part, he succeeded. Unfortunately, it made little difference. The feud was dead on arrival and all of the hard work by those involved was for naught.
