2. Bayley Vs. Naomi - SmackDown Women's Title Match

It's so difficult to watch these Women's matches. Just the sight of an oversized t-shirt makes escapism impossible.

But, even if you're not a soyboy cuck, this match - once again - wasn't terribly exciting. They are almost immune to critique because this entire exercise is so artless and the talent, understandably, tends to only lace up one working boot, or in some cases two bare left-footed soles.

Bayley tried to wear Naomi down early with a side headlock and imagine liking this. Every single match was built on a grind-down heat spot and imagine WWE hiring several road agents to guide the talent through matches that never really deviate from a set in-house structure when a printed guide would do the trick for significantly less money. Naomi rocked Bayley with a corkscrew plancha, and it looked great, as the action heated up, but a crossbody looked like sh*t. The young girl in the crowd captured with awful, rotten cynicism seemed to enjoy it, though!

The heel outsmarted the babyface at the finish when the heel is stale, the babyface wasn't, and WWE can't book babyfaces.

Star Rating: ★★½
