10 Matches Fans Want At WWE WrestleMania 34 (But Won't Get)

A couple of weeks ago, Undertaker versus John Cena on the Grandest Stage of Them All, a dream match fans have been waiting more than a decade to see, looked to be a done deal. The only question was when The Deadman would rock up to lay down a challenge.

Fast forward to present day, however, and it's suddenly looking a little far-fetched. 'Taker didn't make an appearance at Elimination Chamber, despite his would-be opponent being involved in the main event, and hasn't been seen on Raw since the 25th anniversary show in January.

Moreover, Cena himself is now being linked with matches against a slew of different wrestlers. Last week it was Rey Mysterio, who fans have been clamouring for since the Royal Rumble, and this one it's a soon-to-return Samoa Joe.

All of this could be deliberate misdirection, of course, but the fact is that we are now heading into the final stretch of the Road to WrestleMania. If The Phenom doesn't surface from the grave tonight then we can probably put this down in the category of things about which wrestling fans foolishly got their hopes up.
