10 Matches We Must See In Lucha Underground Season 2
7. PJ Black Vs. Angelico
Stepping away from the stories for one moment, Rey Mysterio isn't the only former WWE performer to arrive in Lucha Underground this year. Justin Gabriel has also made his way the Temple, under his new name of PJ Black. Billed as the 'Darewolf', the South African will bloom free of the restrictions that WWE places on its performers. The Darewolf isn't the only South African high flyer currently performing in Lucha Underground however. One of the standout performers in season one, Angelico has wowed the believers on a constant basis with his obsession with jumping off of high things onto human bodies. He is a former Trios Champion (along with Son of Havoc and Ivelisse), and is poised to play a big part in season two. A showdown between the two would quite clearly provide some of the high-adrenaline action that Lucha Underground is known for, and that Black claims to crave. There aren't too many high profile South African professional wrestlers around either, so seeing two of the biggest face off would be unique in itself.
Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
