Shut up and take my money!

With the Royal Rumble match this weekend, we begin to look ahead to Tampa, Florida on the 5 April 2020, and WrestleMania 36. At last year's 'Mania, we were treated to some classic matches, unforgettable moments, and some genuinely exciting results... the less said about what came after the better.

Once more, speculation is rife as to what WWE are planning for 'The Grandest Stage Of Them All', particularly with the recent news that their plans for the biggest show of the year are reportedly "wide open". As a result, fans have begun fantasy booking April's card in earnest, with names such as The Velveteen Dream, The Rock, and (of course) CM Punk being mentioned.

This list attempts to whet our WrestleMania appetite without going into 'dream match' territory too much by pitching relatively feasible contests, although wrestling fans perpetually live in hope!

Honourable mentions have to go to the likes of AJ Styles, Charlotte Flair, Kevin Owens, Samoa Joe, Ricochet, Braun Strowman, and Randy Orton who just miss out. With the Royal Rumble, looming these are ten matches we NEED to see at WrestleMania 36...

10. Bayley Vs. Sasha Banks

The general consensus is that either Shayna Baszler or Ronda Rousey will win this Sunday's Royal Rumble match and go on to challenge Becky Lynch at WrestleMania. On the off chance that Charlotte Flair emerges victorious, a showdown with Lynch would be far more intriguing to fans than a rematch with Bayley. Therefore, Bayley's opponent (more than likely for her SmackDown Women's Championship) will have to come from elsewhere.

Fans have longed for a Sasha/Bayley feud akin to their industry changing epic in NXT and although it has been teased on multiple occasions, WWE have never truly pulled the trigger on it.

Bayley recently described her heel turn as "hit and miss" due to the fact that it seems as though other than getting a haircut and destroying her 'Bayley Buddies', the company haven't fleshed out her new character. In a storyline with such history as her on/off friendship with Sasha, Bayley has the opportunity to fully commit to her villainous ways by turning on her partner - possibly after using her help to escape the Elimination Chamber as champion, or return to being a babyface and run their 2015 classic back at 'The Show Of Shows'.
