Whilst there were other big matches on this show, no one remembers a thing about King of the Ring '98 apart from this match and those two falls from the Cell.

You could even argue that the rest of this match has been largely forgotten, as many fans just remember the two infamous bumps Mankind took at the hands of The Undertaker.

Many wrestling fans and critics alike have called this match one of the most famous ever and it remains one of the most brutal, hard-hitting matches in WWE history.

King of the Ring 1998 played host to another fairly famous match - Steve Austin vs. Kane for the WWF Championship in a First Blood match - but it pales in comparison to the impact this contest had on the wider wrestling landscape.

Luckily for King of the Ring '98, it didn't need any more memorable matches, because this singular bout was enough to earn it a place in wrestling legend and a constant place in Mick Foley's nightmares.
