The Hall of Fame induction ceremony is one of the most anticipated events of the year, as WWE chooses to acknowledge and reward only a handful of people who have been selected because of their careers and contribution. Each year, one person is chosen as the main inductee of that year, because their career and contribution was that little bit more special and important. Before her induction, Trish Stratus was expected to be the first woman to headline a Hall of Fame class because of her extraordinary career and the fact that she is widely recognised as the greatest female wrestler of all time. However when push came to shove, she was inducted at the same time as the likes of Booker T, Bob Backlund, Mick Foley and Bruno Sammartino, and failed to headline like a lot of people had anticipated. It seems the next best and most likely candidate to headline will be Stephanie McMahon, but her induction is dependent on how her career continues to pan out, and is likely years or even decades away. If not even Trish can top the bill, then there's a strong chance that no Diva ever will.
