It's safe to say there's never been a Diva that's been accused of being a main event star. There have been female major stars, legends, and even Hall Of Famers, but still a Diva has never been in the closing match of a PPV. Excluding appearances in the Royal Rumble match or performances as a manager, a woman has never been in a PPV main event. Even the rivalry between Trish Stratus and Lita, which is generally regarded as the biggest women's feud of recent years, and perhaps all time, still didn't make it to the main event. They broke ground by main eventing Raw of course, but they never made it top billing of a PPV. While a one-on-one match is unlikely to make it to the top of a PPV card, there's not even been any kind a intergender, or mixed tag kind of match that was the last match of the night. In years gone by, the lack of PPVs was one of the reasons, but given the amount of PPVs in modern WWE it seems weird there's been no involvement in a main event by a woman in a wrestling capacity.
