10 Mistakes WWE Better Not Make Before WrestleMania 35

2. Making Batista's Match With Triple H The Main Focus

Once the confetti has been swept away, all the soda cups put into plastic bin bags and thousands file out of MetLife Stadium, WWE will ready themselves to roll on with their non-stop carnival. Raw will happen, preparations will begin for another Saudi show on 3 May and 'Mania 35 will be consigned to the history books.

Meanwhile, Batista will (probably) return to Hollywood, Triple H will go back to his day-to-day business and all the other part-timers will shuffle back from whence they came.

That's why the company can't make this battle between former Evolution buddies the focal point outside Charlotte Flair vs. Ronda Rousey vs. Becky Lynch. Hopefully, they won't have to. Hopefully, there will be another male match that takes some of the pressure off Big Dave and Trips' shoulders this April.

Y'see, there's a fair chance Batista vs. Triple H won't quite be the match WWE hope it's going to be. They'll require some bells and whistles, shortcuts and a whole hell of a lot of brawling to get through it, and the product will be devoid of their story once the show is over.
