10 Mistakes WWE Better Not Make Before WrestleMania 35

10. Thinking People Care About The Battle Royals

WWE are kind-hearted souls.

No, really. Why else would they cost themselves more money just to squeeze as many members of the roster onto 'Mania's card as they can? There's no logical reason for this other than to sprinkle some of that box office magic into everyone's bank accounts. It's a nice payday, but it doesn't help the show at all.

Neither that André The Giant Memorial Battle Royal or the women's variant are essential or even that exciting at this point. If WWE genuinely believe that putting someone like Drew McIntyre into the former is a fine use of his talents, then we're all in trouble. Winning that match has never meant less.

It's a complete waste of TV time to half-heartedly sell the Battle Royal matches as historic when they turn out to be pre-show fodder. If WWE are going to dedicate some precious mins on Raw and SmackDown to either, at least give fans a reason to care.
