10 Mistakes WWE Has Already Made With RETRIBUTION
1. Losing... Then Losing Again!
The hardest obstacle that RETRIBUTION now has to overcome is their consecutive losses. RETRIBUTION lost their first match on TV in one of the dumbest DQ finishes of the year and then lost their second match CLEAN to The Hurt Business. This has completely annihilated any of the remaining credibility this group had left.
You would think that RETRIBUTION would win their first match right? It seems like the most logical step to take in order to establish them as a cohesive unit. But no, a DQ loss to The Hurt Business. DQ losses can sometimes be salvaged by a killer angle afterwards. Maybe the group send MVP home on a stretcher or throw Bobby Lashley through an LED screen. Nothing like that happened and nothing was salvaged from their first loss.
The second loss was even more baffling because it wasn't just a clean loss, it was a submission loss! One of the most decisive finishes in wrestling. A submission finish can make or break an act and it completely broke this one. T-Bar tapped out almost immediately to Lashley's Hurt Lock. This submission loss solidifies the reputation of RETRIBUTION. It will be insanely hard to recover from this kind of defeat and there's not a lot that can be salvaged from this acts painfully short and lacklustre run.
